Korvstroganoff


Korvstroganoff (Sausage Stroganoff) is an easy-to-make and tasty sausage stew with Falukorv sausage, onion, cream and tomato puree. This dish makes a perfect for an everyday dinner, for the whole family.
Korvstroganoff
INGREDIENTS 
Serves 4

4 portions of rice or other grains
550 g Falukorv sausage
1 yellow onion
1 tbsp oil
3 tbsp tomato puree
250 ml cooking cream
100 ml milk
1 tbsp Japanese soya
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Black pepper and salt, to taste
Fresh flat leaf parsley, for decoration

HOW TO
Cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
Cut the sausage into sticks. Peel and chop the onion.
Fry the sausage and onion in the oil in a frying pan for about 5 minutes. Add the tomato puree and fry for a minute.
Stir in the cream, milk, soya and Dijon mustard. Simmer for about 5 minutes.
Season with black pepper and salt, to taste. Top with chopped fresh flat leaf parsley, optional. 
Serve the Korvstroganoff with boiled rice and a fresh salad on the side.
