Kalix vendace roe, also known as the "Caviar of Kalix".

The vendace is a small fish of the salmon family present in parts of northern Europe. Thanks to the conditions of the Bothnian Bay in the Kalix region of Norrbotten Country, the roe produced by the vendace there is of a brighter colour and milder flavour.

The quality has guaranteed it a place on Noble dinners, at royal galas and special occasions for Swedes throughout the country. It's the only Swedish product granted the PDO status of the EU.

Due to the high quality of the product, this can be defrosted and frozen again several times.

THIS PRODUCT ARRIVES FROZEN AND IS SOLD FROZEN. Due to the expensive nature of this product it's not available for delivery. We can make exceptions but are not liable for it breaking, defrosting or disappearing in transit.
